The main objective of the project is to preserve gastronomy heritages via archiving and to increase international cultural dialogue, which is in line with the UCCN Mission Statement objectives such as strengthening international cooperation between cities, stimulating and enhancing initiatives, promoting gastronomy heritages.

Within the scope of the project, Adana Municipality will develop an international digital portal for the documentation of gastronomy heritages of UCCN Gastronomy cities. The recipes of local dishes from all around the world, along with their stories and ingredients will be archived and shared globally through the portal. Furthermore, the famous gastronomy destinations in cities, together with gastronomy producers will be shared in the application for their cultural dissemination. Finally, different gastronomic routes both at local and international scale will be demonstrated.

Gastronomy cities of UCCN as the partners and participants of the project will be able to add their data to the application that will make international partnerships and recognition possible, also allowing them to disseminate the gastronomical heritages of the city. The application will be developed with the cooperation of Çukurova University, Adana Municipalities, gastronomy related NGOs, Chamber of Commerce; and used by general public and UCCN cities.
